Amsterdam had long been on my list of must-visit-cities, with its many channels, old buildings, second hand shops and many restaurants and pubs. We went in the end of April, just when spring had started to arrive.
Our favorite restaurant was Moeders, or Mothers. A tribute to the mothers of the world, with framed pictures of visitors’ mothers being hung along every cm of the walls. Food was delicious and of course the theme of the menu was the favorite dishes of different mothers. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time if you plan to go.
