I fell in love with Taipei the second we got of the plane. This buzzing metropolitan combines the best of China, Japan and the West, all in the same place, while also inviting you to take part of its very own culture and vibe. The food is amazing (yes – eat dumplings, yes – eat beef noodles, yes – drink pearl milk tea) and the night markets will keep you up all night long. There are several large night markets scattered around the city where the locals come to hang out, eat dinner and do their shopping – any day of the week. Taipei really is a city to be explored by night.
