A modern twist on classic Filipino flavors and dishes have made Black Sheep, on the Pent House floor overlooking the city of Manila, one of the top 15 restaurants to visit this year, according to the staff at CNN. It’s been said that Manila has seen a transformation in its food scene during the past few years, and chef Jordy Navarra, earlier an apprentice at three star restaurant Fat Duck in England, has been one of the profiles leading the way. On our way to El Nido, Palawan in April, we had a one night stopover in the Filipino capital, and were more than happy that we decided to spend it with the tasting menu and dramatic views at Black Sheep.
